Visa exemption certificate is a valid entry and exit document from Vietnam that is issued to overseas Vietnamese or foreigners who are spouses and children of Vietnamese citizens. This Visa Exemption Certificate is valid for the longest period of 5 years and is shorter than the expiry date of a passport or foreign residence document for 6 months. Therefore, if your passport or green card is valid for less than 5 years, the validity of the Visa will not be full 5 years.
